Agent demo
A business owner asks their AI agent to arrange Tech E&O (technology errors and omissions) cover before a client deadline. The agent uses the ZapCover Customer MCP to open an application, confirm details with its human, compare quotes and submit a proposal.
- You
We just signed an enterprise client. Their contract says we need Tech E&O cover by Friday. Can you sort it?
- Your agent
On it. I'll get live quotes through ZapCover.
- → start_application{ endpointId: "demo-tech-eo", requestId: "7f3c…" }
{ applicationId: "app_91x…", nextTool: "get_application_requirements" } - → get_application_requirements{ applicationId: "app_91x…" }
6 fields needed: revenue, headcount, services, prior claims, limit, start date
- Your agent
I filled these in from our company records. Can you confirm: revenue $2.4M, 18 staff, software consulting, no prior claims, $1M limit from Friday?
- You
Yes, all correct.
- → put_application_collection{ values: { … }, customerConfirmed: true }
{ status: "complete" } - → request_quote{ customerConfirmed: true }
{ status: "quote_requested" } - → get_quotes{ applicationId: "app_91x…" }
Insurer A $4,180/yr $1M limit $10k excess Insurer B $3,950/yr $1M limit excludes contractual liability Insurer C $4,620/yr $1M limit includes cyber sub-limit
- Your agent
I recommend Insurer A. Insurer B is cheaper, but it excludes contractual liability, and your client's contract requires that cover. Shall I go ahead with A?
- You
Go ahead.
- → select_quote{ quote: "Insurer A", customerConfirmed: true }
{ selected: true } - → get_application_disclosures{ applicationId: "app_91x…" }
2 disclosures to show, 1 consent required
- Your agent
Before I submit: here are the insurer's disclosures. Do you agree to the terms?
- You
I agree.
- → submit_proposal{ consent: <customer consent> }
{ status: "proposal_submitted", nextStep: "kyc" } - Your agent
Done. The proposal is with the insurer. One last step for you: a 2-minute identity check at the link I've sent. I'll share the certificate as soon as the policy is issued.

What to notice
Section titled “What to notice”- The human stays in control. The agent confirms the business details and the final choice before acting. Every tool that changes something requires explicit customer confirmation.
- The recommendation reads the fine print. The cheapest quote excludes contractual liability, which the client contract requires, so the agent recommends a different one.
- Identity checks stay with the customer. The agent hands off to a secure page for KYC instead of handling identity documents itself.
This is a scripted replay with sample data. Tech E&O is part of business owners insurance, which is coming soon. The tool names and order match the Customer MCP. A live sandbox demo you can run from your own agent is coming soon.
