This Privacy Policy explains how ZapCover ("ZapCover", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit or use our website and services at https://zapcover.com (the "Services").

Public motor claims explorer and MCP connector

This section covers the Indian motor claims explorer on our website and its public MCP connection, including requests made through ChatGPT, Claude, or another MCP client. The connector provides read-only claims information. It does not accept policy documents or offer individual claim decisions.

• What is processed: A request can include an insurer name, motor claims category, reporting period, and claims metric. The service processes these inputs to return source-linked public claims figures. Our application does not save individual MCP prompts, tool arguments, or response histories in its claims database.
• Technical records: Vercel routes requests from our website to the claims service hosted by Railway. Both providers may process connection details and HTTP logs needed to deliver and protect the service. These may include IP address, time, request method and URL, response status, and browser or client information. URL parameters may reveal a searched insurer or metric. Log retention depends on each provider's plan and published limits.
• Who receives it: Vercel handles requests to the website and Railway hosts the claims service in the United States. The chat service you choose also receives what you enter there and the connector response; its own privacy policy governs its handling of your conversation. Original insurer disclosures open on the source publisher's site when you follow a source link.
• Why and for how long: We use request inputs to answer your query and technical records to operate, troubleshoot, and protect the service. Query inputs are processed for the request and are not stored as a customer profile by the claims application. Vercel and Railway retain technical logs according to their plan limits. If you email us for support or a correction, we handle that message under the communication and retention sections of this policy.

Please do not include a policy document, claim file, or sensitive personal details in a public claims request. For access, correction, deletion, or other privacy questions about information held by ZapCover, email hello@zapcover.com. For chat history or information held by ChatGPT, Claude, or another client, use that provider's privacy controls.
